Highlees Primary School is a vibrant, multicultural, two form entry Academy, rated as ‘good’ with Ofsted in 2018. The school is  situated in the heart of the Westwood and Ravensthorpe estate, Northwest of Peterborough city centre, which has great railway links.
We are proud to be part of the Elliot Foundation Academy Trust;  where children believe they can because teachers know they can” . This partnership enables our pupils, parents and staff to benefit from both established local and national links.
Our team of supported, dedicated staff are committed to ‘bringing out the best’ in all children.  Governors and staff have a clear vision and are committed to making our Academy as successful as possible for the children and families we serve.
The school has a large focus on developing confident, resilient individuals who have a love of learning.  The staff work hard to deliver a curriculum built on meaningful and enriching learning opportunities that develops the ‘whole’ child. Our children have plenty of opportunities to participate in educational experiences in and out of school as well as a wide range of after school clubs. It boasts up-to-date modern facilities, large colourful classrooms and a superb outdoor space. The school team pride themselves on being an active member within the community,  frequent communication and events with parents ensures children can reach their highest potential, as well as nurturing their natural abilities and talents.
